What began as involvement in the community has now grown to making a large in impact on the youth in the North Chicago Suburbs and area. By putting a focus on education, Heart Of The City supports the youth in their Soccer programs with access to resources otherwise not readily available. At the heart of their organization is a true passion and care for the kids they serve.

The organization had established such a strong presence in the community already, so when we approached the global brand, we needed to consider the effect a large-scale change would make. Through research and many design options, the best foot forward for Heart Of The City was to refresh the brand, cleaning up the logo and creating new brand elements that would elevate their presence.

All non-profits balance the need to communicate to their funders and those they serve. When Heart Of The City approached us to help them craft their annual report, we needed to take into account how the brand would represent the right information. Over two years, we have established a brand language that allows for flexibility in creative ways.
